Well, Fork Me!

Please excuse my 14-year-old sense of humor with the title of this post...once again, I'm cracking myself up, but probably am offending a few readers. Just couldn't help it!

Anyhoo, onto the post.

You're probably wondering why I'm writing about forks and saying to yourself, JJ get on with it already! Well, what I'm about to say isn't particularly insightful or impressive. It's really all about a weird idiosyncrasy I've realized I have.

When I'm eating dinner at home, I ALWAYS eat with a salad fork. It was only recently that I realized I was doing it and I thought to myself, what's THAT all about??? Is that weird to you, too, or is this a somewhat normal trait? Please tell me that I'm not the only weird one here!!!
If I am the only weird one, let's just chalk it up to Halloween, mkay?!

Not as weird as you think.....we use salad forks, too.....I just like them better because they are more compact. Our dinner forks are kinda big so we always choose the salad forks!

I do it too. I have small hands.

It might be weird, but sometimes I do it, too. And we bought some new forks a while back (how is it that forks disappear like socks in the laundry at my house?), and they are HUGE. Neither my husband nor I like eating with them!

That's hilarious! Only Zack eats with salad forks around here.

Not weird at all. My husband must eat with a salad fork at home, otherwise he goes nuts!

I as well like to eat with a salad fork. I feel lost when I eat out or at a friends home and given a regular size one.

I do the same thing too. Our other forks just feel too big. Glad to see there are so many of us.

LOL, I am not so picky about salad vs. dinner fork, but I am crazy about the weight of the utensil. We have one set that is just too heavy for my wittle hands and I am always throwing those back for the lighter weight forks. (I guess that if I just separated the sets, I could solve that problem, doh!)

No, that's not weird at all! I prefer to eat soup with a regular teaspoon, not on of those big, wide soup spoons!

I don't think we own any salad forks. Wait.. yes we do but they don't match the forks I bought that I love at Target a while back. Literally if the fork is clean I will eat with it. It doesn't matter WHAT fork it is.

A salad fork is my personal preference as well. I have a small mouth and if I eat with a dinner fork I inevitabily end up gagging myself.
