I'm a TOTAL freak!

I don't know where this weird OCD characteristic came from...certainly not from my parents, as they give me the "our child is CUCKOO" look when this issue comes up. What's the issue/characteristic, you ask?! Are you sure you're ready for it?!

I CAN'T TOUCH WET FOOD.

See, totally and completely freakishly weird.

BUT, my NEED for gloves doesn't mean I can't have style...because I've used darling retro dish gloves for the last few years with ruffles, bows, and now, bling! Check out my latest pair of gloves!

These adorable babies came from Pier 1 and were on sale! They're so cute that I don't even need to hide them under the sink! Stylish, huh?!

And because I'm having so much fun with these adorable gloves, I wanted to share with you some other options! I played around on everyone's favorite web merchant for homemade products, Etsy, and found a few retailers whose products were absolutely worth mentioning! If you're in the mood for adorable dish gloves, I encourage you to CHECK THESE CHICKS OUT!

So, ya, I'm a total freak for the whole wet food thing, but I'm HOPING that my adorable gloves make the issue less obnoxious! These gloves WORK FOR ME. To see what other tips and tricks are out there helping women (and men), head on over to We Are THAT Family for a super fun blog carnival!

Divine dahling! Simply divine. I found a pair at Jo Anne's a few months ago, for a buck. They are adorable and match my kitchen but alas when they die they die and no more at Jo-Annes. I will definitely have to check out your chicks-thank you. I find I am so much more productive and fast in the kitchen with gloves on. I get you. You're not weird. Or at least not weird all by yourself. ;)

Linds, if you make them, I'll insist that you sell them on Etsy, then let me profile you. ; )

Oh my goodness...I have THE SAME EXACT ISSUE with wet food. I ALWAYS have my gloves on (ugly yellow ones) if I'm at the sink. I thought I was the only one :). Love the gloves!

I don't mind the wet food so much as getting my hands wet to do the dishes. I ought to make myself a pair of these, then I'll really feel glam!

You are so not a freak!! I actually have the black and white ones ;-) I just cant clean without gloves on {shutter} Uck! I will totally spend more so long as I dont have to wear the short ucky yellow ones - if I have to clean I may as well be cute doing it, right ;-)

My current strategy to the "wet food" problem -- yes, I experience it too -- is to let the food dry on the dishes for -- hmmm, let's see -- about a week, before washing it off, or to just try not to throw up from the gagging if they must be done right away.

But THIS, I love! And who doesn't want to look cute for their man even when they're slaving away in the kitchen?!? ;-)

i hate wet food, too! Your gloves are great. I am sure you feel like a domestic goddess when you wear them.

Thanks for the linky-love! I LOVE my domestic-diva gloves and can't imagine doing the dishes without them. And now that it is spring and I hear the dirt calling my name, I think I will have to steal another pair from the "stash" for my gardening!

Thanks for your sweet offer! I would love to do a giveaway...but give me a few weeks. I am still overwhelmed with learning Etsy and figuring it all out. I will touch base with you soon. Thanks again!!

I hate wearing gloves while doing dishes but I have to admit that those gloves do make it a bit more enticing to do so. I guess my biggest problem with the is that I have very small hands and if I buy the small gloves the family ruins them. Grrrr
