Raindrops on Roses and Whiskers on Kittens...

Thought I'd share a few of my favorite things...things that keep me busy when I eat lunch at my desk, am at work editing pics on my computer, or am zoning out on the couch after a long day!!!

Every, and I mean EVERY Sunday or Monday, I jump over to PostSecret to see the genius anonymous secrets that get delivered to Frank. Started just a few years ago, PostSecret is a blog with Frank's home address where he invites anonymous readers to send in their secrets just to get them off their chests. Sometimes they're quite naughty, sometimes sad, sometimes HILARIOUS. And I can't start my week without them!

I've posted images from my favorite online e-card website, SomeECards before, but I can't truly express how much I love them. These cards are TOTALLY inappropriate, but always make me laugh.

As I get further and further down the road into the photography world, I find things that I just can't live without! Lately, I'm completely hooked on Doug Boutwell's Totally Rad Actions for Photoshop. These actions take images to the next level. They make colors pop or give them grainy old school flavors. ProRetouch gives everyone a shot of botox and smooths out wrinkles beautifully...and don't even get me started on the eye bump. I'm so in love with TRA and can't wait to continue discovering their genius!!!

Every gal watching her figure has likely been overcome with delight when she lays eyes on the Hostess 100 Calorie packs at the grocery store. I love to start my day with the cinnamon coffee cakes and end them with the chocolate cupcakes. Maybe I shouldn't admit that...

I absolutely LOVE South Coast Wineries Chardonnay. The Reserve 06 is oaky and tastes like vanilla. It goes well with deeper dishes and drinkers shouldn't be afraid to pair it with red meat! Located in Temecula, CA, South Coast is easy for southern Californians to get to...they have a resort and spa and the tasting room isn't quaint, but they do offer incredible wines! My favorite Temecula vineyard to visit, though, is Ponte Family Estates. I've mentioned it here before, but it's worth repeating. The vineyard has an incredible restaurant and it's just lovely to visit! The wines are really nice, but won't blow your socks off. Having said that, I think spending the afternoon there is one of my favorite things to do!

I'm a big dork and like watching Big Break on the Golf Channel. The show is dedicated to helping amateurs get their qualifier to the PGA or LPGA. Each week, golfers are given challenges and the loser gets "voted off the island." It's fun to watch the competition and to see the players reactions when they have to do something crazy like make blind shots over walls or hit two balls in the exact same place. I'll NEVER be good enough to go on a show like this, but if I was, this is the kind of reality show that I'd really dig!

So, how do you like my list? It's random, I know! But as I was sitting here thinking about all my diverse interests, I thought that maybe I'd blog about them...and yes, I realize I'm all over the map. But isn't that what makes us all interesting individuals? I sure hope so!

What are some of YOUR favorite things?

How fun! I've never heard of like 95% of that stuff, so I'll have to check it out!

I couldn't live without TMZ. Shameless. Utterly shameless. I heart it, though.

OK...so I am totally hooked now on the blog Creative Parties and Showers b/c you were actually featured on it. My day is not complete without going down my blog list and reading all the new posts! Currently my other favorite thing is Izzie fruit drinks! Random, I know!
