I also plan to recover the ahem, PLASTIC, cushion with some fabulous fabric that matches my new semi-custom drapes! So what if the fabric has been sitting in the back of my car for at least a month now...wait when did I blog about the drapes? March 3, oh LOVELY.
Now confession here...in addition to keeping the fabric in the back of the car for an eon, I've had the chair for like two weeks already. It was NEXT to my desk (where I plan to use it), then it's been sitting in my living room for a few days where I took it to shoot a photo. I'm so lazy, I would have just left it there until it refinished and recovered itself. I'm so lazy that I NEARLY ignored Melissa's challenge to us procrastinators...
BUUUUUT, she's given us two weeks to make our projects sparkle. Two weeks should give me plenty of time. Hey, if I can grow AND kill a garden in two weeks, I should be able to do one lowsy chair, right? (Ironically, Melissa's doing six -- ha ha ha ha!).

Hope everything will be fine.
Happy Thursday.

I love that chair and can't wait to see what you do!
I wouldn't want to sand that chair either. ;)
But all those nooks and crannies are going to make it look fabulous when it is done. It has such character. Can't wait to see it made-over!
I so wish I had only committed to one chair. I put up 4! And I don't have time. Just to make you feel better, I've had my chairs A LOT longer than you. I may have had 3 of them for close to a year! Hows that for procrastination? Well, it WILL look fabulous when you've finished. We've got a good eye for design, right? RIGHT!
Shut about about the multiple chair thing. I'll show YOU! {eh hem, right...I am still waffling on the color to paint them}...
That chair will be so adorable I can't wait to see the after!!
Chairs- I hate to sand them- Can't wait to see what you do-
Thanks for sharing.
What a really cute chair! Can't wait to see what you do with it!
What a pretty chair...can't wait to see it finished!
Can't wait to see the "after!" I love the details on the chair. I've joined the party too, so let's get to work!! :)
Um, so glad the plastic seat cushion is going. I hate sanding - I sure wouldn't want to sand that chair.

Your chair has awesome bones...but the plastic skin really does need to go! I can't wait to see it all done. And, I love your drapes.
Good Luck!
Susie
Can't wait to see!
