Today I had some bridesmaid duties for my dear friend Lisa's wedding, but don't let the title of my post fool you...it was no chore. First of all, the bride and her sister, Stacey, had the place ready to go with DIY work stations throughout the house and even better, they had a number of yummy treats waiting for us when we got parched. Oh who am I kidding...I freaking ate all day like I had an insatiable tapeworm.
As a DIY lover, the idea of a DIY wedding makes me happy...knowing the hours of work put into this wedding, by women who love Lisa, makes the day even more special. On tap for today was to assemble the wedding invitations and wedding favors. It was a fun day and I feel so honored to have been a part of it. Lisa, I can't wait to celebrate with you and Nate in June!!!
