I found this beautiful painted plate at a vineyard in Virginia when I took Sarah and Walter's engagement pics. It was beautiful and I knew it would tie the two rooms together so well that I had to hang it on the post separating them. I also did a little project that I learned about from The Nester. My Auntie Candy gave me an old butter knife that was my Great Grandmother's...I bought a cheap frame from Michael's, inserted a neat green and red damask print, glued the knife to the glass and tied a ribbon around it. Too cute, huh?!
I also found this funny spoon and fork...it was metallic, which I thought was too dark, so I grabbed my new BFF, spray paint, and turned them white to match the other new accessories. This little art piece was $5 on sale at JCP.
I also found these random towels at outlet stores (yeah for saving money!), and spray painted the paper towel holder, too!
I've never been one for collecting stuff, but I do have a collection of glass bottles! I placed them over the fridge so I wouldn't throw crap up there... Thoughts? Are they out of place now??? I'm undecided...
My brother and SIL gave me some undercabinet wine racks a few years back and they have since become one of my favorite things in the kitchen! They are a space-saving gem and if you need a FAST fix of wine, they're easily accessible! Oh wait, that doesn't happen to you??? Awkward.
I also need to anthropolgize for all these cute accessories from Anthropologie. I saw the nesting dolls on The Pioneer Woman's website and I couldn't refrain from buying a ton of little goodies. BUT, just about everything was on sale, including the ovenmit, and salt and pepper shakers (okay, really that was only half of the things I bought...not almost everything)!
Lastly, my dear friend Jennifer gave me a garden. Wait, whaaaa? I babysat for my friends one night who needed a date. I couldn't wait to play and snuggle with Jackson...but the little stinker slept the whole time! He's clearly a perfect child!!! Anyway, as a thank you, Jennifer and Sean sent me a blooming flower garden! In one week, it's already started to sprout flowers! Such a fun and neat surprise!!!
I'm having so much fun with my new green kitchen and have even added a new fabulous appliance -- a KITCHENAID MIXER, wooooo hooooooo! I absolutely CANNOT WAIT to use it. Do you have a favorite kitchen accessory or appliance? I'd love to know what you just can't live without!!!
Updated: I'm sharing this with my pals at Hooked on Fridays...Julia's blog, Hooked on Houses, is awesome, so be sure to check it out!

Yay for a KitchenAid mixer!
One of my favorite kitchen gadgets is.... something I thought I would NEVER use, but use it all the time! A little electronic scale that coverts grams, pounds and ounces. You can set a bowl on it and 'zero' it out so you just weigh what you put in the bowl. Love it. Highly recommended.
I LOVE all of your accessories! I love how you mixed the towels (and how they match your blog...you clever girl you), and all of the Anthropologie stuff?...please, you're killing me. I love it!
Your kitchen looks like so much fun. Enjoy!
I love all of it! so pretty and cheerful! I almost went to Anthropologie today for a doormat I found online on sale. But I knew I'd get the doormat on sale and 30 other things so that I would spend too much money in the end. So I resisted and went to BBB and got a cheap doormat and will have to get my Anthropologie fix another day.
I ♥ my KitchenAid mixer!
Your blog is adorable, and those glass bottles on your fridge are super cute! Your kitchen is beautiful. Nicely done!
Thanks for visiting me yesterday. Stop by anytime! :)
Oooh how I love your kitchen. Green looks amazing there. I have the same measuring cups from Anthropologie--they're too cute! I like how they look with your green.

Love the green! My fav appliance is definitely my professional series KitchenAid stand mixer, love love love it.
I love your new green, it all looks great!
That's a lovely green you've chosen. And I love the fork and knife you've done. Very fresh idea for a kitchen classic.
I don't have a Kitchenaid mixer but I couldn't live without my toaster oven or my rice cooker. I live w/o a microwave so the other two are extra handy for heating up.
Your new green kitchen is awesome, I love all your fun accessories!
I love all the details you added to make your kitchen look special. Beautiful!
Your kitchen looks beautiful love the color. Also so jealous of your anthropologie kitchen items, I also saw them on PW.
Oh and by far my favorite kitchen item is my kitchenaid mixer. I use it for everything- from guacamole to whipping cream! Enjoy!
You have really nice style, I love your kitchen and the anthropologie stuff. I have some bottles on my fridge too but I seem to always be cleaning them or they get filmy and gucky. I would love to know if you have any tips on keeping them cleaner for longer.

Oh RoRofusion, you make me laugh! Cleaning the bottles, puh-lease, I haven't even given that a stitch of thought - HA! When I think of a plan, I'll be sure to share it, though!!!
Beautiful! I had to laugh at your fork and spoon because it reminds me of the parents kitchen on Everybody Loves Raymond. :)
Oh, you know how much I love GREEN! It looks lovely! Great job.
:-)
It's all so pretty! And what a great shade of green for a kitchen. Love it! :-)
I love, love, love the green, JJ!
Love the glass jars on your fridge. Somewhere in blogland last week I saw someone made a lamp out of one. I think they put one of those cork lamp converters in the top and added a shade.
I love your kitchen!
