As I'm working on my cosmetic kitchen makeover, I wanted to do something fun and practical...but something that didn't "junk up" the place. See, I'm not a fan of "stuff." I have a few magnets and photos on the side of my fridge, but not in plain sight. I know, I'm weird...especially in light of the fact that I'm NOT a neat freak (just ask any of my former roommates!!!)!
I have a pretty small kitchen in my condo - not anywhere near as small as my BLAHg friend Katie at MakingThisHome, who incidentally I've been emailing with and plan to feature next week regarding her 36 square foot kitchen! When you have a small kitchen, you need to be clever...and multi-functional!
Did someone say multi-functional??? How bout a pantry door that doubles as a grocery shopping list? Enter: chalkboard paint!
It might not be the classiest of choices, but so far it's coming in super handy and it WORKS FOR ME! To find out other fab tips from bloggers around the world, visit Works for Me Wednesday!

Good morning SITSta, lol! Thank you for visiting my blog! I'm enjoying reading yours, and funny I was just thinking about chalkboard paint, been seeing alot of posts, that is a really cool idea on the cabinet.

That's a great idea! My kitchen is probably as small as yours!
This definitely works for me too - what a great idea putting it on the inside of the door!
I like that idea. Thanks so much for sharing!
Love this idea - much nicer than yet another flopping piece of paper on my fridge to corral!
Great idea, I love that. I actually thought about painting the side of my fridge with chalkboard paint so that we could write our list right on there! I'm thinkin' the texture would be a problem.
Great job, JJ!
Your blog is always so much fun to visit. I followed a link over when I saw chalkboard paint mentioned and low and behold it's the perfect solution for me! I already have about a million notes taped to the inside of my pantry door. It's great!
Thanks for sharing.
