Last night, we headed out to an early birthday dinner for me (yes, I'll be turning the page on another year this week) and the woman had me laughing so hard that I cried big ole alligator tears. My dad and sister were even laughing AT me for laughing so hard.
See, it all started when my mom decided to take a photo of my sister and I using my sister's camera. We explained that she needed to hold it down halfway to focus, then go the remainder of the way. Well, something got lost in translation and she said it was "just a little blurry." We laughed pretty hard as we looked at the pic, knowing that mom's not the most techy mom. But then my dad reminded me of the time when my mom shook my blackberry in order to make the screen scroll down. And THAT'S when I lost it. Poor mom, she somehow always becomes the brunt of the joke, but at least she's a good sport...and the world's greatest mom.
But c'mon, would "it's just a little blurry" make you laugh when you saw this pic, too???

My mom is the same way. We have stories that go back 20 years that we still laugh at every time we are together. She gets upset because we are laughing "at" her, but in the end, she's laughing, too. Moms rock!
That's a great picture...it should definitely go into a scrapbook somewhere. If you just embellish and add some fancy paper for a background, I'm sure noone will even notice it's a little blurry! :)

Ya, I have the same issue with my mom. She took Caden trick or treating on Saturday night. I knew there would be no pictures, sigh.
Too funny. Just a little blurry reminds me of that saying about being just a little pregnant. Uhmm??

OMG, this makes me CRACK UP!! It all sounds just like my mother-in-law! Courtney and I get so frustrated - we usually just give up and say "Nevermind!" after she's pushed random buttons and doesn't even look through the view finder (and don't even talk about zooming in or out). When a photo opportunity comes available we don't even ask her to take the picture....we'd rather stop some stranger. So funny!!
