ot long ago, I saw a clip on The Today Show or something like that about preserving unmentionables and extending their lives...and you know what?
The solution is simple...organization. Apparently, those of us who throw our silky garments into the dryer and then again into a drawer are doing ourselves a disservice! In order to make your bras (and other underthings) last longer, always hang them dry, then place them in your drawers in an orderly fashion, allowing the cups to retain their shape!
Yes, this is totally silly and I might be
oversharing just a wee bit by showing you MY unmentionables, but hey, it's a tip that works for me! To see other great tips and tricks, check out
Works for Me Wednesday here!
And hey, if you're thinking this post is totally ridiculous and it's freaking you out...at least I didn't say the word PANTIES.

I hang dry mine. I should probably organize mine better. Well really, I probably need new bras.
i believe the correct word is PANNIES...please don't be dirty!
ROFLMAO - JJ, I heart you.
I lay mine flat on top of the washer to dry. Then, I do as you say and put them in my drawer in an orderly fashion.
Why does your drawer look like one at Vicky's Secret?
goodness, you have quite the wardrobe.....;-)
Suzanne
mine could use a little help....
Great advise. Nice collection!
Never thought about it. I wish mine look like yours! I'll try it and see how that work. great tip!
I use to hang mine to dry, but lately I've been lazy and throwing them in the dryer. Now that we don't have people coming to look at our house every other day I should probably start hanging them to dry again.
I cannot believe you blogged this! You are so completely crazy and I am so glad we are now friends! Funny that you should post this because I used to be a store manager for Victoria's Secret and a manager for the Lingerie department at Robinson's. What you mentioned is true, and if you don't wear a padded brazier, then you can fold the bra in half and tuck the straps in between and be sure to colorize them. :) I could go on and on about bras, not in a gross fashion. But did you know that 75% of women are all wearing the wrong size bra? I am one of those crazy certified over the shoulder boulder holder people who can tell you so! ha ha! Hugs to you Jen!
I wash and dry mine and fold them in half, turning one cup inside out. Was pretty sure this was all wrong ... now I know. :)
Love this post!!
