Never read a local blog before.<BR/><BR/>If you're loving the bungalows and want to stay in OC, then consider Santa Ana. We live in Washington Square (CUTE neighborhood that starts around 17th & Flower over to Bristol). It's an historic neighborhood and there is a very strong community effort to keep the neighborhood looking fabulous. I know for a fact that some of the foreclosures in this area are going for somewhere in the $200/$300 range. Also consider Floral Park (just on the other side of 17th). It's more chi-chi than Washington Square and it's just lovely.
